Two Forms of Magnesium Chloride – Magnesium Chloride Oil
This pure liquid form of magnesium chloride is the quickest and most convenient way to transmit magnesium into the cells and tissues through the skin. For example, a few sprays under each armpit after a shower function as a highly effective deodorant, while at the same time transporting magnesium swiftly through the skin into the glands, lymph channels, and blood vessels, which distribution it throughout the body. Spray some onto the back of the hands or the top of the feet any time of day or night for continuous magnesium absorption. Regardless of where on the body you apply the spray, once it penetrates the surface of the skin, the body transports it to whichever tissues need magnesium most.
Magnesium Chloride Flakes – This is a white crystalline form of magnesium chloride that is suitable for bathing in or preparing a foot soak. The flakes and the oil are exactly the same magnesium chloride, from the same source, but the flakes are less expensive. It’s a good idea to buy the flakes for baths and the oil for drinking water and direct application to the skin.
“Methods of Application” for Magnesium Chloride Oil (Mg.Cl2)
Direct Skin Spraying… is the most efficient and economical application, offering the most benefits to the user. Initially, those with sensitive skin should dilute 50/50 with water whilst your body adjusts to a higher magnesium level. To maximize your absorption, use it after a shower or a bath (while your skin is damp) when your skin is clean and the pores are open. Start gradually with 30 sprays and build up to 50-60 sprays as desired. Avoid the eyes, freshly shaved areas, cuts and private areas. After 30 minutes, when the Mg.Cl2 is fully absorbed you can choose to wash it off or just leave it on. When applied Mg.Cl2 feels oily but it is actually water based and rapidly absorbed. The residue is more of a “briny” (Salt solution) sensation, just as if you have been swimming in the ocean, only much stronger. “In fact swimming in salt water is one of the ways of increasing your magnesium uptake, as is eating magnesium rich food”
Foot Soaks and Relaxation Baths… are a great way to absorb Mg.Cl2 without the tingling sensation, this is recommended for children, as their skin is more delicate. Also a better method for those with skin conditions. Soak up to 20 minutes in a warm bath or foot soak for maximum absorption. How much should you add? Foot Soak…2-3 Tablespoons Flakes or Oil. Bath…1 cup of flakes or more if desired. Use for Massage… Massage stimulates the blood flow, not only to the skin, but also to the underlying tissues, and of course enhances the absorption and distribution of the Mg.Cl2. Great for massage therapists!
The “Tingle” factor… only applies to direct body spraying. As your Magnesium levels rise and your body becomes accustomed, it will disappear. This is an indication of high acid levels and low magnesium levels. As your magnesium levels increase your acid levels will decrease. If the tingling lasts more than 5 minutes you can dilute 50/50 with water when spraying / massaging into the body. Initially for the first month daily use is recommended. If you have the capacity to use it over your whole body at least once a day, you will feel the benefits of raising your Magnesium levels much faster (Be prepared to wash it off, if need be) Brush you teeth with Mg.Cl2… Spray on to a wet toothbrush, a light brush will remineralise teeth, stimulate saliva glands, break down plaque and help to rebuild enamel. If you swallow Magnesium Oil do not worry, in fact you can even spray it direct into your mouth for the onset of a sore throat/cold or add a teaspoon to a glass of water for constipation. Higher levels can be used for colon cleansing, consult with your health specialist for advice on this procedure.
Mg.Cl2 Substitutes Deodorant…with continued use of Mg.Cl2 it deodorizes the whole body. (Do not use after shaving or it will sting!) The underarms and feet are great entry points for Mg.Cl2 to enter the body. Once your Magnesium levels are raised you can maintain your levels by using Mg.Cl2 intuitively in different areas.
